Infinix is gearing up to launch the GT 50 Pro in India on October 27, pairing high-performance processing with advanced thermal management. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate, the smartphone features Infinix’s HydroFlow Liquid Cooling System with India’s first Explicit Viewport Design, which makes the cooling channels visible through the phone’s back panel. Combining distinctive engineering-led design with a purpose-built cooling architecture, the system is designed to manage heat during intensive gaming sessions and support sustained performance.
HydroFlow Liquid Cooling
The HydroFlow system combines a micro-pump, dual piezoelectric ceramic plates and liquid circulation of up to 6.5ml per minute¹ with a 7,700mm² 3D vapour chamber¹, working together to dissipate heat under sustained processor and graphics workloads. In supported titles, including Free Fire MAX and Call of Duty: Mobile, this helps the GT 50 Pro sustain gameplay at up to 144FPS² without the throttling.
GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0
The GT 50 Pro’s internal cooling is further enhanced by the GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0, an external magnetic cooler designed to help manage heat during intensive gaming and support sustained performance. It also enables 30W wireless bypass charging³, powering the phone directly while minimising heat generated by battery charging. In India, the GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0 will be included in the box.
Display
The GT 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 4,500 nits⁴ of peak brightness, and up to 2,800Hz touch reporting with up to 330Hz touch sampling in Game Mode⁴ for faster, more precise in-game response.
GT Triggers
The GT 50 Pro introduces pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers to the GT series, giving players greater control during gameplay. With four input modes – light press, hard press, left swipe and right swipe, players can map actions such as aiming, firing and zooming to intuitive trigger gestures. Pressure detection starts at just 10g⁴, while 10 customisable sensitivity levels let players fine-tune the controls to their play style.
Battery, Charging and Memory
The GT 50 Pro houses a 6,500mAh battery with 45W wired charging and 30W wireless charging, to keep users powered through gaming and everyday use.
Complementing the chipset is a memory and storage combination featuring LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, designed to support faster data access, quicker loading and smoother switching between applications. Together, these capabilities support the GT 50 Pro across gaming and everyday use, helping users move between demanding applications with responsive performance.
Beyond gaming, the GT 50 Pro is built to handle the pace of everyday use, from switching between applications to managing multiple tasks without compromising on responsiveness. With performance at the core of its design, the upcoming smartphone signals the next step in Infinix’s GT journey, with more to be revealed closer to its launch on October 27. Stay tuned!
