Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has ordered immediate appointment of 200 Nursing Orderlies in the Union Territory after noticing shortage of staff in isolation wards during a visit to a hospital in Srinagar yesterday.
Government spokesperson Rohit Kansal said that the two regions of the Union Territory Jammu as well as Kashmir will get 100 of these Nursing Orderlies each.
The Lieutenant Governor visited SMHS hospital and reviewed the COVID situation there. Mr Sinha also approved the grant of special move Travelling Allowance of 25,000 rupees to all move employees irrespective of actual movement, as a special case this year.
