Shamli, Uttar Pradesh : In recognition of innovative and sustainable approaches to water conservation, the District Administration of Shamli has acknowledged the ongoing pond rejuvenation work being carried out using JS Water Energy Life’s phytoremediation technology. The initiative forms part of broader efforts to improve water quality, restore ecological balance and promote community participation under the Government of India’s Catch the Rain campaign.
In a public post, the District Magistrate, Shamli highlighted the use of JS Water Energy Life’s environmentally responsible phytoremediation technology to naturally improve water quality and rejuvenate local ponds. The administration noted that the solution enhances water quality through the use of diatoms and natural biological processes, eliminating the need for chemical interventions while supporting long-term ecological restoration.
The administration also highlighted the participation of the Headmaster and teachers of Primary School, Khedi Bairagi, in a cleanliness drive alongside the restoration activities, demonstrating strong community participation in environmental conservation. It reiterated its commitment to supporting innovations that advance water conservation, cleaner ecosystems and sustainable development.
Commenting on the recognition, Commodore Sunil Nanda (Retd.), Managing Director & Founder, JS Water Energy Life, said:
“It is encouraging to see district administrations embracing innovative and sustainable technologies for water conservation. At JS Water Energy Life, our mission has always been to restore water bodies by working with nature rather than against it. We are honoured by this recognition from the Shamli District Administration and remain committed to supporting governments and communities in rejuvenating India’s precious water resources through science-backed, environmentally responsible solutions.”
