Gurugram : Following the success of its inaugural edition, Karma Lakelands has welcomed back its Golf Karma Summer Karnival, bringing together golfers, members and guests for the opening event of the six-part series. Hosted at the resort’s 270-acre eco-golf destination in Gurugram, the Karma Summer Karnival celebrates not just the game of golf, but the experiences, conversations and connections that emerge around it. Combining tournament play with curated hospitality, partner experiences and a signature sundowner, the series will continue through the summer before culminating in a grand finale in September.
Reflecting Karma Lakelands’ vision of creating a destination where sport and social experiences come together, the Karma Summer Karnival goes beyond the traditional tournament format. Drawing in golfers, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, members and guests, the series offers a platform for people to connect through a shared appreciation for the sport. The opening event set the tone for a season expected to welcome over 500 participants.
The afternoon began with registrations, welcome refreshments and a pre-game briefing before participants teed off for a 9-hole shotgun tournament. Throughout the event, golfers enjoyed on-course refreshments, interactive experiences and partner-led engagements. Supported by Michelin, OPPO, Virasat by Radico Khaitan, Ja Mar Hall Scotland, Galleries Lafayette Paris, Kama Ayurveda, Puma Cobra, Sara Group, No Belly and The Pant Project, the event also featured luxury goodie bags and special rewards, including an OPPO smartphone giveaway , on course spot prizes sponsored by Michelin, Virasat & Puma Cobra [ANY DETAILS OF TOURNAMENT CHALLENGES OR CONTESTS]. The event also celebrated its top performers, with Priyanshu Vats (Winner) , Aryadev Khurana ( Runner Up) & Puneet Kumar ( Second Runner Up) INSERT WINNERS’ NAMES AND CATEGORIES] taking home the honours of the first series of the season.
A defining element of the Summer Karnival is its signature post-game experience, which extends the day beyond the final putt. Following the tournament, participants and guests came together for an evening of music, curated culinary offerings and a premium whiskey experience by Virasat by Radico Khaitan. The gathering welcomed over 100 attendees and provided an opportunity for golfers, guests and partners to interact in a relaxed setting, reinforcing the spirit of camaraderie that has become synonymous with the series.
