Marwadi University has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hack2Skill under its Academic Partnership Program to provide internship and training opportunities, along with recruitment support and industry mentorship to students.
This partnership was highlighted by the successful organization of Google AI Labs ’26 conducted in collaboration with Google Cloud. The event witnessed participation from over 1,000 students and technology enthusiasts, offering hands-on exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cloud-based innovation.
A major highlight of the event was the special session on “Coding with Google Antigravity”, an AI-driven, agent-first coding platform designed to enable autonomous code generation and intelligent development workflows. Students were educated on various topics like smart testing, debugging, collaborative development, rapid prototyping and converting natural language into functional code.
Dr R.B Jadeja, Provost, Marwadi University, shared, “The successful execution of Google AI Labs ’26 stands as the first major milestone under this collaboration, reflecting the University’s proactive approach. Our aim is to strengthen innovation, skill development, and industry engagement among students and faculty. This MoU will provide our students direct exposure to emerging technologies, real-world problem statements, and global innovation platforms across India and the APAC region.”
The MoU will also facilitate AI/ML hackathons and national-level innovation challenges, technical workshops and expert-led seminars, and curriculum enhancement aligned with evolving technology trends.
Such collaborations reinforce the university’s commitment to bridging academia and industry by embedding experiential learning into its academic ecosystem. By combining structured hackathons, applied AI learning, and cloud innovation exposure, the University aims to enhance employability outcomes and prepare students to become agile, future-ready professionals.
