Kokrajhar: NTPC Bongaigaon received multiple awards (7 categories) at the 17th Global Communication Conclave hosted by the Public Relations Council of India.
The organization secured prestigious awards across diverse categories, including Diamond Award for Best use of Social Media – Recognizing NTPC Bongaigaon’s dedication to promoting through social media among internal and external stakeholders by effective communication strategies, Diamond Award for Best use of CSR Project for Child Care-Acknowledging NTPC Bongaigaon’s effort towards holistic development of child care through various interventions under CSR, Gold Medal for Corporate Social Responsibility Campaign, Silver Medal – Corporate Film – Film on Migratory Birds, Bronze Medal (2 awards) -Purpose Driven Communication and Arts, Sports and Culture Campaign, Consolation Prize- Wall Calendar 2023.
The awards received by NTPC Bongaigaon were handed over to Karunakar Das, Chief General Manager and Business Unit Head,NTPC Bongaigaon today in the presence of Shashi Shekhar, AGM(HR) and Onkar Nath, AGM(HR).
The awards were received by Madhurjya Singha Lahkar, Sr. Manager(HR -Corporate Communication) and Aduity Thakuri, CSR executive of the power station in New Delhi on 22nd September,2023
These accolades highlight NTPC Bongaigaon’s commitment to communication excellence and its contribution to societal well-being. It is also pertinent to mention that NTPC Bongaigaon has been the highest recipient of application to win ratio among all NTPC sites. More than 100 companies including private and public sector organizations had participated in the award categories. NTPC also bagged the overall Champions Trophy in the 2 day International Communication Conclave.
