Mumbai: Payinstacard has partnered with CAMS Group (Computer Age Management Services) to strengthen its data privacy framework and advance its compliance efforts under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act. The collaboration brings together Payinstacard’s fintech capabilities with CAMS Group’s established expertise in financial services, technology, data and analytics, with a focus on strengthening responsible data management and customer privacy.
As the financial services ecosystem becomes increasingly digital and data-driven, safeguarding customer information has emerged as a critical priority for fintech companies. The DPDP framework further underscores the need for organisations to establish structured processes around the collection, processing, management and protection of personal data. Through this partnership, Payinstacard aims to strengthen its preparedness for the evolving data protection landscape while keeping customer trust at the centre of its digital operations.
As part of the collaboration, Payinstacard will leverage Think360.ai, a CAMS Group subsidiary specialising in data, analytics, artificial intelligence and technology-led solutions. Payinstacard will use ConsenPro, Think360.ai’s AI-driven compliance platform, to support its data privacy and consent management requirements and build a more technology-enabled approach to DPDP compliance.
The partnership will help Payinstacard bring greater structure to its data privacy practices while supporting the organisation in addressing the requirements associated with the DPDP framework. The technology-led approach is also expected to help streamline compliance-related processes and strengthen visibility around the organisation’s data privacy practices.
For the fintech sector, DPDP compliance represents more than a regulatory obligation. With financial services organisations handling sensitive and personal customer information, strong data governance and privacy practices are increasingly important to maintaining confidence in digital financial services. Payinstacard’s collaboration with CAMS Group reflects its recognition that privacy and compliance need to evolve alongside innovation and digital growth.
The partnership also brings a strong financial services pedigree to Payinstacard’s data privacy journey. CAMS Group’s established presence in the financial services ecosystem and its experience working with leading institutions provide a strong foundation for the collaboration. Its technology and data capabilities further complement Payinstacard’s objective of developing a scalable and robust approach to data protection.
Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Saikrishna Musunuru, Whole – Time Director & CEO, Payinstacard, said, “Trust is fundamental to financial services, and protecting customer data is an important part of building that trust. As the fintech ecosystem continues to evolve, we believe that innovation must go hand in hand with responsible data management and strong privacy practices. Our partnership with CAMS Group is an important step in strengthening our DPDP compliance journey and enabling a more structured, technology-led approach to data privacy. We remain committed to ensuring that customer privacy remains integral to the way we build and deliver digital financial services.”
Anuj Kumar, Managing Director, CAMS, said, “The journey towards DPDP readiness begins with understanding an organization’s data landscape. For many institutions, personal data resides across applications, documents, repositories and endpoints, making discovery and governance the critical first steps in the journey. Through ConsenPro, we are helping organizations move from compliance intent to operational readiness in a structured and scalable manner. We are pleased to partner with Payinstacard as it strengthens its privacy governance framework and prepares for the evolving data protection landscape, reflecting the growing need for practical, implementation-focused DPDP solutions.”
The collaboration further highlights the growing importance of technology-enabled compliance within India’s fintech ecosystem. As organisations prepare for a more structured data protection environment, the ability to combine regulatory understanding with technology, data governance and operational readiness will be critical.
For Payinstacard, the partnership with CAMS Group represents a continued focus on building a secure and trusted digital financial ecosystem. By bringing together financial services expertise and AI-driven compliance technology, the collaboration aims to strengthen Payinstacard’s data privacy capabilities and support its commitment to responsible management of customer information.smruthi
