Bhopal : Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that we are celebrating the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi not as a festival but as a day to reiterate our commitment to public welfare and good governance. It is a happy coincidence that we are also celebrating ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. Also, today September 17 is the 71st birthday of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Prime Minister Shri Modi never works to earn fame. His aim is public welfare and development. In line with this spirit, the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Modi is being celebrated in the form of a massive tree plantation campaign and vaccination campaign in the state. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing a massive tree plantation at Smart City Park.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan planted 75 saplings in Smart City Garden along with the dignitaries of Bhopal. Shri Chouhan said that the Jan-Kalyan and Suraaj Abhiyan, which started from September 17, will continue till October 7. Activities related to women, children, farmers welfare and health, education, urban and rural development, energy, industrial development, drinking water will be conducted in the campaign.
PM Shri Modi’s mantra is Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that with Prime Minister Shri Modi’s mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas, we will give shape to his dream of building a self-reliant, outstanding, prosperous, and secure India.
Public representatives, senior artists, litterateurs, social workers plant various species of plants
MLA and former Protem Speaker Shri Rameshwar Sharma, MLA Smt. Krishna Gaur, Padma Shri Vijay Dutt Shridhar, Padma Shri Shri Umakant Gundecha, Gyani Dilip Singh of Sikh Samaj, religious leader of Bohra Samaj, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains, Principal Secretary School Education Smt. Rashmi Arun Shami, Director General of Police Shri Vivek Johri, Former Mayor Shri Alok Sharma, public representatives and officers took part in the tree plantation at Smart City Park. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan planted a sapling of Peepal and Banyan. 75 saplings of different species were planted in the programme.

75 thousand sapling planted simultaneously in 75 thousand schools
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Prime Minister Shri Modi is active in building a self-reliant, glorious, clean, educated, secure India. He is also very sensitive towards the environment. Prime Minister Shri Modi believes that environmental protection is necessary to hand over a clean climate to the coming generation. Therefore, on the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Modi, 75 thousand saplings are being planted simultaneously in 75 thousand schools of the state. As many as 2 lakh people have joined this campaign. Along with this, a tree plantation programme has been organized by the Forest Department at 100 places, where Rudraksha saplings will be planted. Ankur campaign is going on in the state for environmental protection, under which 2 lakh 79 thousand people have planted 3 lakh 86 thousand saplings so far. All those who planted saplings are also protecting their saplings. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that I myself have also taken a pledge to plant one sapling every day. Today is my 211th day of planting saplings continuously in the order of resolution.
76 percent people in the state have got the first dose of the vaccine
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has made free arrangement of vaccine for protection against Corona infection. Vaccination is necessary to prevent Corona. This is the dose of life. Vaccination Mega Campaign has been organized on the 71th birthday of Prime Minister Shri Modi. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan appealed to the people of the state to get both the doses of the vaccine.
There should be no atrocities or injustice against any section of the society
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that activities related to public welfare, development and good governance continue in the state. Campaigns related to nomination, property distribution and campaigns against criminals are being run in the Revenue department. We will ensure that no atrocities and injustice are done to any section of the society.
