Ramgarh assembly Bypoll: 29% voter turnout recorded till 11 a.m

In Rajasthan, polling is underway in Ramgarh assembly constituency of Alwar district and 29% of voter turn out has been recorded till 11 a.m. The polling started at 8 AM. 

Returning officer Pankaj Sharma said that polling is going on peacefully. The election to the seat was withheld during the assembly elections in the state on December 7 following the death of BSP candidate Laxman Singh.

BSP has fielded former Union Minister Natwar Singh’s son Jagat Singh. Shafia Zubair is contesting as a Congress candidate and Sukhwant Singh is the BJP candidate
