Mumbai : With a strong focus on operational excellence, sustainability, and infrastructure management, JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar continues to strengthen its leadership team with the appointment of Ravi Patil as Director of Engineering. Bringing over 16 years of experience across luxury hospitality, Ravi will oversee the property’s engineering operations, technical services, asset management, and infrastructure development.
In his new role, Ravi will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, preventive maintenance, sustainability initiatives, and long-term infrastructure performance, while ensuring the seamless functioning of the hotel’s technical operations.
Prior to joining JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, he served as Director of Engineering at The Westin Mumbai Garden City, and has held engineering leadership roles with Marriott International across Mumbai and Pune. He also brings international hospitality experience from Fairmont Dubai and Fairmont Hamilton Princess, Bermuda.
Known for his detail-oriented approach and strong problem-solving capabilities, Ravi has led engineering teams and implemented maintenance, refurbishment, and infrastructure initiatives with a focus on reliability, safety, energy efficiency, and resource optimisation.
