Navi Mumbai : The School of FutureTech at ITM Skills University has successfully completed placements for its B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) program, with a minimum placement commitment of 8 LPA and access to a network of 700+ hiring companies, including Microsoft, Walmart, Samsung, Goldman Sachs and Adobe.
At the School of FutureTech, placements are the outcome of a practice-oriented learning journey rather than a standalone milestone. Students begin working with Artificial Intelligence from the first semester, complete over 40 real-world projects, and undertake a year-long paid industry internship as part of their degree. The curriculum is co-created with unicorn founders, CEOs and CTOs across domains such as Cyber Security, AI & Data Science, Blockchain, Product Design & UI/UX, and AR/VR. The program’s board of advisers are some top names like Mehamood Mansoori- MD & CEO, Ergo Technology & Services; Devvrat Ary- VP of Technology, Pepperfry; Sumon Mal- Director of Engineering, Paytm; Abhijit Petkar- CTO, Infibeam Avenues.
By the time students enter the placement process, they possess practical AI experience, a year of professional industry exposure, and strong portfolios featuring products and solutions they have built. This hands-on approach prepares them for engineering-focused careers across emerging technologies.
Internships are aligned with five specialisation tracks: Cyber Security, AI & Data Science, Blockchain Developer, Product Design & UI/UX, and AR/VR. Students gain experience in roles such as Software Development Engineer (SDE), Fullstack Developer, Backend and AI Developer, Frontend/UI-UX Developer, Python Developer, AI Agent Developer, Data Analysis and AI Intern, SEO and ML Intern, Junior Developer, UI/UX Designer Lead, and Research Intern.
Students intern with leading organisations including Jio Platforms, dentsu, Colt, Winvesta, Alchemyst AI, LetsUpgrade, CampusPe, Harrier, edurup, Inventuriz and Code N Creative Tech. These internships provide exposure across software engineering, AI, fintech, product development, and media technology, ensuring graduates develop industry-relevant skills and are well-prepared for successful technology careers.
Speaking on the program’s approach, Mr. Nitin Putcha, CEO, ITM Group of Institutions, said, “Technology and AI are no longer separate paths; together, they’re going to define what the student actually does at a workplace. That is why a degree designed for 2030 must introduce students to AI from the very first semester and combine it with extensive project work, industry immersion and real-world problem-solving. At ITM Skills University, the School of FutureTech curriculum and the entire learning module, hackathons and industry workshops are designed to let them experience the workplace environment right at the campus and then a 1 year internship that completely changes their trajectory ahead.”
The internship outcomes underscore the program’s emphasis on combining tech learning with industry immersion and AI infusion, ensuring that students graduate with both practical experience and career-ready skills.
Admissions are ongoing for 2026 batch and applications will be accepted till 18th July 2026.
