Amreli : Swan Defence and Heavy Industries Limited (SDHI), in association with Mahatma Gandhi Arogya Mandir Trust Hospital, Rajula (run by Shri Ramkrushna Arogya Seva Trust), organised a Multi-Speciality Medical Camp for residents of Rajula, Jafrabad and nearby villages.
The camp brought together specialists from General Medicine, Ophthalmology, Oncology and Neurology, enabling local communities to access expert medical consultations and healthcare services closer to home. Services provided included health screenings, diagnostic support, cataract screening and surgeries, free near-vision spectacles, medicine distribution and healthcare counselling.
A total of around 800 individuals attended the camp and benefited from the various healthcare services offered.
Speaking on the initiative, the company spokesperson said, “Access to quality healthcare remains an important aspect of community well-being. Through this initiative, we aimed to bring specialised medical services closer to local communities and encourage greater awareness of preventive healthcare. We are grateful to our medical partners and all those who participated in making the camp a success.”
The initiative forms part of SDHI’s ongoing community development efforts, with a focus on healthcare, education, skill development and social welfare in the regions where the company operates.
