Strike Two: Jawa All Stars makes its next big move with the 42 Bobber at Global Chess League 2026

Bengaluru: Anand Mahindra, Chairman Mahindra Group, unveiled the Jawa All Stars 42 Bobber at the Global Chess League 2026, marking Strike Two in the evolving Jawa All Stars chapter.

The 42 Bobber was one of Jawa’s most decisive moves against convention. India’s first purpose-built Bobber, its unmistakable cantilever seat design is bolstered by rear mono-shock suspension. Its singular road presence went on to make the 42 Bobber a cultural statement of individuality. In 2026, it was awarded the ‘Style Icon of the Year’ award, recognising its distinctive design, road presence and strong cultural relevance.

With Strike Two, India’s most loved Bobber now becomes part of the Jawa All Stars chapter, carrying forward the same shared code through an expression built around its unrivalled character and a distinctly individual outlook.

Built around the 42 Bobber’s character, the new All Stars edition introduces fresh colourways, distinctive chequered graphics and the All Stars insignia, elements that reflect the motorcycle’s connection to a mindset defined by independent thinking, individuality and self-expression.

Among the new colourways is All Stars Silver Knight, a new colourway inspired by chequered graphics which is common in world of motorcycles and the chess. It creates a subtle connection between two worlds shaped by conviction, courage and the confidence to chart one’s own path.

Graced by some of the world’s leading chess talent, the event brought together two worlds connected by a shared belief. In chess, every player works within a shared framework, yet every move reflects individual thought and conviction. Jawa All Stars is built around a similar belief, recognising individuals who share a common code while staying true to themselves.

The new 42 Bobber is a defining expression of Jawa’s new All Stars chapter. Strike One introduced the All Stars philosophy through a contemporary and sporty interpretation of the neo-classic Jawa. Strike Two builds on that story through the 42 Bobber, a motorcycle whose factory-custom character, unmistakable silhouette and cultural relevance have helped it carve out a unique space in Indian motorcycling.
