The Design Village organized ‘Can a Unique Industry Mixer’

The Design Village (TDV) has organized a 2-day event, Can Industry Mixer that hopes to jumpstart the Creatives movement for the region. The event aimed to build networking for students through creative engagement and co-incidental interactions, with people in the design, innovation, extended arts, and culture space.

The event featured a mix of multidisciplinary professionals from diverse segments within the design industry. Professionals like Muji India- Harsh Punmiya, Indi Design Founder and Chief Executive – Sudhir Sharma, Silver Genie- Poulomi Bhattacharya and Faisal Ahmad, Campus France team – Rachit Dhawan and Shubhra Sharma, The Irregulars Alliance – Arsh Bedi & Sanika Vidhate along with other designers sharing their experiences and journeys with the students. Further, the event ended with a live performance for students.

Anusha Dhawan, Impact Head, and facilitator at The Design Village said “Can is a networking space including “Can – Co-Creative and Adaptive Networks” as a sustainable platform for graduates, alumni, and industry-aligned practitioners”.

The highlight of the event was “Showcan” where students exhibited their stalls showcasing their skills and selling their products. Can is an opportunity for students,

including alumni, to be exposed to a larger world of possibilities that will help them chart their journey after college, lose their inhibitions and be the movers and shakers of the design.

Faculty members of The Design Village gave an official closing to the event with a session about their journeys beyond academics.
