National : In a step towards encouraging more conscious choices within hospitality, THE Park Hotels is marking World Egg Day on 9 October with a Pan-India initiative centred around cage-free, free-range eggs across its participating hotels.
In collaboration with the Cage Free Free-Range Poultry Producers Association (CFFRPPA), THE Park Hotels will feature cage-free, free-range eggs at the breakfast buffet across seven hotels in Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Visakhapatnam. The initiative will bring greater visibility to responsible sourcing at the point of consumption, while giving guests an opportunity to learn more about the provenance of the eggs served at their breakfast table.
The participating hotels will collectively receive 3,100 eggs from CFFRPPA ahead of the initiative, ensuring that guests can experience the offering as part of their breakfast.
Speaking about the initiative, Mr Rajesh Radhakrishnan – Area General Manager, THE Park Chennai, said, “At THE Park Hotels, we believe that responsible hospitality is built through the choices we make every day, from the way we design our spaces to the ingredients we bring to the table. Our collaboration with CFFRPPA for World Egg Day gives us an opportunity to make responsible sourcing more visible and accessible to our guests. It is a small but meaningful step towards creating greater awareness around where our food comes from and making conscious choices an integral part of the hospitality experience.”
The initiative reflects THE Park Hotels’ broader approach to incorporating sustainability and responsible practices across its operations. By bringing the story of the ingredient closer to the guest, the hotels aim to create greater awareness around food sourcing while celebrating the everyday breakfast staple in a more considered way.
The World Egg Day initiative will be observed across the participating hotels on 9 October 2026.
