Bengaluru: Zigly Pet Care, India’s first omnichannel pet care brand, today announced the launch of its annual dog health packages across three life stages, Puppy, Adult, and Senior, as part of its fifth anniversary celebrations. Designed to make proactive pet care easier to plan and follow, the packages bring together essential veterinary, health, and grooming services under one annual plan, with unlimited vet consultations as a key benefit across all three packages.
The launch comes as Zigly Pet Care marks five years of building an integrated approach to pet care in India. Over this period, the brand has seen pet parents become more involved in their pets’ health and well-being, while also recognising that keeping up with vaccinations, deworming, regular check-ups, and other routine needs can often become difficult when care is managed one requirement at a time. The packages have been introduced to help pet parents stay on top of routine and preventive care through the year, bringing multiple health and wellness needs together instead of managing them as separate requirements.
The annual health packages bring together essential services based on a dog’s life stage. Puppy Care is priced at ₹17,000; that includes vaccinations, deworming, a baseline blood panel, diet and nutrition consultation, grooming, and unlimited vet consultations, whereas the Adult Care package has been priced at ₹20,000, which comprises annual vaccination and deworming, blood and urine tests, a chest X-ray, a dental check-up, grooming, five nights of boarding, and unlimited vet consultations. The Senior Care package has been priced at ₹30,000, offering twice-yearly blood and urine tests, ECG and blood pressure checks, joint and bone examination, seven nights of boarding, home sample collection, and unlimited vet consultations.
Commenting on the milestone and the launch, Mr. Saurabh Jain, CEO, Zigly Pet Care, said, “Completing five years is an important milestone for us, but what matters more is what we have learnt from being part of pet parents’ everyday lives. While pet parents often want to do the right things for their pets, they face challenges in keeping track of everything throughout the year and knowing when something needs attention. We wanted to make that process simpler. These health packages bring important aspects of care into one plan and give pet parents the flexibility to consult a vet whenever they need to. For us, the initiative is about making regular care easier to follow, rather than waiting for a health concern to become urgent.”
Research conducted by Unomer for Zigly Pet Care found that nearly half of surveyed pet parents are relatively new to pet parenting, while many continue to manage vaccinations, deworming, and health check-ups themselves. The study also points to a gap between the intention to follow preventive care and doing so consistently, with cost, convenience, and the absence of an immediate health concern often influencing when care is sought. This understanding has shaped the health packages, which are designed to move pet care from a largely need-based approach to a more structured and proactive routine.
A key feature across the three packages is unlimited vet consultations. This is intended to make veterinary guidance easier to access through the year, particularly when pet parents notice a change in their pet’s behaviour, appetite, activity, or general well-being but are unsure whether it requires a visit to the vet. The health packages also bring multiple services into a single annual plan, helping reduce the number of individual decisions pet parents need to make around routine care. Further, to make this journey much more comfortable, Zigly Pet Care has announced structured payment options spread across 3, 6, or 12 months, giving pet parents the flexibility in how they manage the investment. Marking the five-year anniversary celebration, Zigly Foundation – the community outreach arm of Zigly Pet Care is also organising a feeding drive in Gurgaon and Noida. As part of this, the foundation will be distributing 200 kg of nourishing food at each location for the community dogs, encouraging compassionate and responsible care for every life.
