Kokrajhar: The Kokrajhar Bar Association today stage a one-hour token protest in support of their demand for the resumption of physical functioning of court, regular functioning in all subordinate courts and reopening of Bar rooms and offices of Bar Associations.
Members of the Bar Association carried out the protest infront of Kokrajhar Court premises from 11.30 am to 12-30 pm.
A memorandum was also submitted to the Chief Justice of India, Supreme Court of India through the District & Sessions Judge, Kokrajhar seeking prayers for resumption of physical functioning of courts under the jurisdiction of the Hon’ble Gauhati High Court and reopening of the Bar room and offices of Bar Associations.
