Following the resounding success of its earlier editions, Udaan, Zing’s flagship youth initiative that brings real-life changemakers to the forefront, recently concluded its third edition at Lovely Professional University (LPU), Punjab.

Continuing its mission to inspire India’s youth through authentic, purpose-driven stories, Udaan once again became a stage for ordinary individuals creating extraordinary impact across diverse walks of life.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Pankaj Balhara, Business Head of Music and FTA Cluster at Zee Entertainment Enterprises, shared,

“Each edition of Udaan reaffirms our belief that true inspiration comes from real people and their journeys. Seeing young students engage so deeply with the stories of these changemakers is incredibly fulfilling. At Zing, we remain committed to nurturing such conversations that move, motivate, and empower the youth to dream fearlessly.”

The third edition of Udaan featured a remarkable lineup of speakers who have been transforming lives and communities with their ideas and actions:

· Shalini Robert – At just 22, Shalini is transforming lives through her foundation that provides education, healing, and emotional support to abandoned children and underprivileged communities across Chennai.

· Chetan M. Pardeshi – Founder of S for Schools, a volunteer-led initiative establishing mobile libraries in rural Maharashtra. His mission empowers first-generation learners with access to books, fostering literacy, confidence, and a love for reading.

· Chandrashekhar Mandal – Founder of Digital Labour Chowk, a platform connecting migrant workers in India to dignified employment opportunities, bridging the gap between daily wage earners and fair work.

Saloni Bhutra – Founder of Paddling Foundation, an initiative ensuring menstrual equity, awareness, and dignity reach every corner of society. Her mission stems from the belief that menstruation should never be a source of shame or struggle.

Each speaker’s journey reflected resilience, compassion, and a relentless pursuit of change — values that Udaan continues to champion. The sessions sparked meaningful conversations, leaving students inspired to follow their own paths of purpose and action.

This edition of Udaan soared to new heights — the event was met with an overwhelming response, drawing admiration from students across India and even international attendees at LPU. The energy, engagement, and emotional connect underscored how Udaan’s spirit of courage and hope is now transcending borders and inspiring hearts beyond borders.

As Udaan continues to soar higher, Zing remains committed to hosting many more editions that celebrate real stories of determination, hope, and human spirit.
