New Delhi: Aviva Beauty has launched #NoOneToImpress, an Anti-Valentine’s campaign that repositions Valentine’s Day away from performative romance and toward personal, everyday self-care through skincare.

Rolling out across Aviva Beauty’s social media platforms in early February, the campaign invites consumers to rethink skincare not as a special-occasion indulgence, but as maintenance; gentle, repeatable care that supports well-being and exists without an audience. As part of the initiative, Aviva is also inviting its community to share their most honest skincare routines, with selected entries receiving Aviva Beauty products.

As part of the week-long social media campaign, Aviva Beauty reflects how skincare shows up in real life; quietly, privately and without performance. The campaign features a founder-led narrative film, community-led storytelling around unfiltered routines, creator collaborations focused on low-pressure, at-home self-care, an Anti-Valentine’s self-gifting edit, and a participatory giveaway inviting audiences to share their routines using the hashtag #NoOneToImpress.

Moving away from traditional Valentine’s Day imagery, the campaign adopts a narrative-led, founder-forward approach that mirrors how skincare and self-care fit into everyday life rather than special occasions.

“Skincare isn’t romance; it’s maintenance,” said Vanshika Chachra, founder of Aviva Beauty. “At Aviva, we think of skincare as micro-wellness; small, gentle rituals of self-care that support you every day, not just on special occasions. Anti-Valentine’s, for us, isn’t about being anti-love; it’s about removing pressure and performance from care. It’s what we return to on ordinary days, when there’s no one to impress, and when consistency matters more than intensity.”

Inclusive of all relationship statuses, #NoOneToImpress positions self-care expressed through skincare; not as a substitute for love, but as a parallel, everyday practice. By centering routines that often go unseen, Aviva Beauty challenges the idea that skincare must always be tied to spectacle, transformation or external validation, particularly during culturally charged moments like Valentine’s Day.
