FICCI FLO to Host Panel Discussion  on Planet, Policy & Progress: Building India’s Sustainable Future on World Environment Day on June 5, 2026

New Delhi : FICCI Ladies Organisation ( FLO) will be organising a panel discussion on the World Environment Day on June 5, 2026 at FICCI Federation House, New Delhi, bringing together thought leaders, innovators, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and changemakers for meaningful conversations around sustainability, climate action, circular economy, and responsible growth.

The panel  discussion being organised under the FLO GreenTech & Circular Economy National Initiative, will be focusing on fostering dialogue, encouraging innovation, and creating awareness around sustainable development, climate-conscious business practices, and scalable green solutions.

The panel discussion on “Planet, Policy & Progress: Building India’s Sustainable Future”, will be featuring an eminent line-up of speakers including Dr. Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder & CEO, Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions Limited, Mr. Ankit Agarwal, Founder, Phool.co and Ms. Barkha Subba, Conservation Scientist & Whitley Award Winner 2026

The session will be moderated by renowned journalist, author, and conservation biologist Ms. Bahar Dutt.

“The discussion will bring together diverse perspectives on green innovation, biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, circular economy models, sustainable mobility, and responsible entrepreneurship. The panelists will be highlighting  the urgent need for collaborative action between businesses, policymakers, communities, and citizens to build a more sustainable and climate-resilient India.” Said  Ms. Puja Garg, National President, FICCI FLO, the apex body of business women in the country.

“Sustainability is no longer a future aspiration — it is an urgent responsibility. India’s transition towards green technology and a circular economy presents not only an environmental imperative but also a transformative economic opportunity. At FLO, we believe that the future of growth must be rooted in purpose, responsibility, inclusion, and innovation.” Said Ms Garg.

During the event, FICCI FLO will also be  formally announcing  the launch of its Pan-India Initiative on Waste Collection and Responsible Disposal, aimed at encouraging conscious waste management practices and greater community participation towards building a cleaner and greener India.
