Technocraft Ventures Receives Letters of Award for Sewerage Infrastructure Projects in Bihar Aggregating ₹745 Crore

Mumbai : Technocraft Ventures Limited (TVL), an infrastructure development and engineering company with a focus on water, wastewater and urban infrastructure projects, has received Letters of Award (LOAs) from Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (BUIDCO) for three sewerage infrastructure projects in Bihar under the Government of India’s AMRUT 2.0 programme.

The projects comprise development of sewerage networks, sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, rising mains and associated infrastructure including its operation and maintenance for 5 years in Motihari, Jehanabad and Siwan. The aggregate contract value of the projects is approximately ₹745.12 crore (excluding GST).

The projects have been awarded to a joint venture in which Technocraft Ventures Limited is the lead member & Partner-in-Charge and holds a 74% stake. As per the joint venture arrangement, the entire execution responsibilities are proposed to be undertaken by TVL.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Sanjay Tyagi, Managing Director, Technocraft Ventures Limited, said:

The projects are aimed at strengthening urban sanitation infrastructure and expanding wastewater treatment capacity in the respective towns. They are being implemented under the AMRUT 2.0 scheme, funded through contributions from the Central Government, State Government and Urban Local Bodies.

Over the years, Technocraft Ventures Limited has executed infrastructure projects across water, wastewater, urban development and transportation sectors under key government programmes including Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT), Namami Gange, Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM), and Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). The Company has also undertaken projects funded by multilateral institutions, including the Asian Development Bank (ADB), requiring adherence to stringent technical, environmental and operational standards.

Technocraft Ventures Limited has received final observations from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) in connection with its proposed Initial Public Offering (IPO). The proposed IPO comprises a fresh issue of up to 95.05 lakh equity shares and an offer for sale of up to 23.76 lakh equity shares, aggregating up to 1.19 crore equity shares. Khambatta Securities Limited is the Book Running Lead Manager to the Offer and Bigshare Services Private Limited is the Registrar to the Offer. The equity shares are proposed to be listed on the BSE and NSE, subject to receipt of applicable approvals, market conditions and other considerations.

The company notes that while the Letters of Award have been received, the formal work orders and definitive agreements for the respective projects are yet to be executed.

Motihari Sewerage Network Project – ₹284.08 crore

Jehanabad Sewerage & STP Project – ₹216.83 crore

Siwan Sewerage & STP Project – ₹244.21 crore

Total – ₹745.12 crore
