Bengaluru – TukTuki, India’s homegrown micro-drama entertainment platform, today announced the acting debut of Dushyant Kukreja, one of India’s most-watched digital creators as the lead of its original micro-drama series Viral Zindagi. The casting marks a first-of-its-kind moment in Indian entertainment: a creator-native superstar of Dushyant’s scale stepping into the lead of a fully scripted, character-driven micro-drama production.

Dushyant Kukreja said, “Acting has been a dream since childhood. But back then, the right platform simply didn’t exist, there was little awareness about this path in North India, and my family wasn’t in a position to support a move to Mumbai. So I found my own way: content creation on YouTube and Instagram. It came naturally, and I built something real there. But six years in, I began to feel the ceiling. Making videos at home, shooting on the ground, I knew deep down I couldn’t see myself doing only this forever. That’s when I made up my mind: it was time to act, time to build a real structure around that dream. I am genuinely excited about what this new chapter holds.”

Viral Zindagi gives Dushyant exactly that platform. He plays Aryan Kapoor, a wealthy and arrogant social media superstar whose dominance is upended when a humble, authentic creator named Gaurav Moji goes viral overnight. Consumed by destructive jealousy over his falling numbers, Aryan launches a vicious smear campaign to destroy Gaurav — paying off old contacts to spread false rumours and blackmailing his ex-girlfriend into making a fake harassment allegation on a live stream. As Gaurav’s counter-attack gathers force, Aryan’s carefully constructed empire begins to crumble, setting the stage for a very public reckoning.

The choice to cast Dushyant as Aryan is entirely deliberate. Playing a villain of this scale requires an actor who commands the screen and whose larger-than-life presence is utterly believable — someone audiences already know as a force of nature. Dushyant’s decade building one of India’s biggest creator followings, his magnetic on-camera persona, and his deep understanding of the social media world Aryan inhabits all make him uniquely equipped to bring this complex antagonist to life.

Anshita Kulshrestha, Founder & CEO of TukTuki said, “At TukTuki, we have always believed that the most powerful stories are not written in boardrooms, they are lived. Dushyant Kukreja represents something that no casting brief could manufacture, a genuine cultural voice for an entire generation of young Indians who built everything from nothing, without a safety net, without a roadmap. Bringing him into Viral Zindagi is not just a casting decision, it is a declaration of what we are building. We are creating a new entertainment category where the line between creator and character dissolves, where the audience does not just watch a story but recognises it. That is the future of micro-drama in India, and Dushyant is exactly the kind of talent that makes that future real.”
