The Government of India today expressed condolences to the former President of Timor-Leste, Dr Francisco Guterres Lú-Olo. In a social media post, the Ministry of External Affairs said that Secretary (East) Rudrendra Tandon has signed a condolence book and conveyed condolences on behalf of the government at the embassy of Timor-Leste in New Delhi.
The Ministry added that Dr Francisco Guterres Lú-Olo will be remembered for his support in fostering the friendly relations between India and Timor-Leste.
