Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has said he held meaningful discussions with his UK counterpart, Secretary of State for Business and Trade Peter Kyle, in London.
In a social media post, Mr Goyal said they explored new opportunities to deepen India-UK economic and trade cooperation. He said the conversation reflected the warmth, trust and forward-looking vision that continue to define the bilateral partnership.
The Minister said that with the India-UK Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the Double Contribution Convention (DCC) set to come into effect from the 15th of next month, both sides remain committed to fostering an ecosystem that promotes innovation, investment and holistic growth for both nations.
