K-12 learning technology company HMH today announced that it is expanding its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Pune, moving into a new, larger office as the centre continues its evolution and growth in service of creating positive outcomes for educators and students.
The new office at Shivaji Nagar, Pune is now open and features an expanded 24,000 sq. ft. footprint with seating capacity for 230+ employees, collaborative and hybrid workspaces and room for growth, giving the Pune team the space and infrastructure to take on additional priorities and opportunities.
“The story of our Pune center is ultimately a story of collaboration. Over the years, we have built a talented team that works seamlessly across geographies, functions, and disciplines to solve complex challenges and drive innovation. Our refreshed office is designed to foster greater connection, creativity, and teamwork, providing an environment where people can collaborate effectively and continue building impactful learning solutions for educators and learners around the world”, said Jaya Wadhwani, SVP, Software Engineering and County Manager, HMH Tech India.
Underpinning this expansion is the centre’s rapid growth: since opening in May 2023 as a center of excellence for technology and engineering work, the Pune team has grown from zero to 300 employees in three years, a pace that has driven the need for a larger home to support continued innovation and collaboration.
HMH plans to continue expanding its investment in India’s talent and in the Pune technology and innovation ecosystem.
