The Two-day 2nd governing body meeting of FICCI FLO inaugurated by Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla begins in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: The two day 2nd governing body meeting of FICCI Ladies Organisation (FICCI FLO),the apex body of business women in the country for the year 2026–27 under the leadership of Ms. Puja Garg, National President, FICCI FLO successfully began in Hyderabad.
The two-day event is part of the FLO Hyderabad chapter’s celebration of 25 years of empowering women . The event was inaugurated by Hon Governor of Telangana Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla .
A key highlight of the celebrations was the Silver Jubilee Gala, graced by His Excellency Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, as the Chief Guest. Congratulating the Hyderabad Chapter on completing 25 years, the Governor lauded FICCI FLO’s sustained efforts in promoting women entrepreneurship, leadership, skill development, and social impact, while encouraging greater participation of women in India’s economic growth story.
“The event brought together National Past Presidents, Members of the Presidium, Governing Body members and Chapter Chairpersons and Initiative Leads from across the country for strategic deliberations, while also commemorating the Silver Jubilee of the FLO Hyderabad Chapter, marking 25 years of inspiring women through leadership, entrepreneurship, and community impact.” Said Puja Garg, National President, FICCI FLO speaking on the occasion .
“The Governing Body Meeting serves as an important platform to review the organisation’s progress during the first quarter of the year, discuss key initiatives undertaken by Chapters, share best practices, and outline the roadmap for the months ahead. The deliberations reflected FICCIFLO’s continued commitment to fostering collaboration, strengthening its national footprint, and advancing women-led development across sectors.” Said Ms Garg.
“The Governing Body Meeting is not only a forum to review our collective progress but also an opportunity to learn from one another, strengthen collaboration, and shape the future of our organisation. Hosting this meeting alongside the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Hyderabad Chapter made it particularly meaningful. “ she said.
“The Silver Jubilee celebrations commenced on 17 July 2026 with a special tribute to the Past Chairs of the FLO Hyderabad Chapter, whose vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment have shaped the Chapter into one of FICCI FLO’s most vibrant and impactful Chapters. The former Chairs were felicitated for their invaluable contributions towards building a strong ecosystem for women entrepreneurs, professionals, and changemakers over the past 25 years. The ceremony brought together former and current leaders, members, and distinguished guests to celebrate the Chapter’s rich legacy, remarkable milestones, and enduring contribution to the women’s empowerment movement.” Said Ms Seetha Reddy Gaddam, Chairperson, FLO Hyderabad Chapter.
The Governing Body delegates also visited the FLO Style Tatva Exhibition- GB Edit, a vibrant showcase of creativity, innovation, and enterprise by women-led businesses. The exhibition featured an eclectic collection of fashion, textiles, handicrafts, lifestyle products, jewellery, wellness, and home décor, providing a platform for women entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and expand their market reach.
On 18 July 2026, the FICCI FLO delegation, led by National President Ms. Puja Garg, will call on Shri A. Revanth Reddy, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, at his office. The meeting will focus on strengthening collaboration between FICCI FLO and the Government of Telangana to create greater opportunities for women entrepreneurs through policy support, skill development, innovation, digital empowerment, and enterprise-led growth. The delegation discussed avenues to further enhance women’s participation in emerging sectors and contribute to the state’s vision of inclusive and sustainable economic development.
