MiPhi Semiconductors Achieves 2.5X Revenue Growth in Q1 FY27, Strengthening India’s Memory and Storage Ecosystem
New Delhi : MiPhi Semiconductors, the joint venture between Micromax Informatics and Phison Electronics, leader in NAND controllers & flash storage solutions building India’s next generation memory technology capabilities, has crossed ₹250 crore in revenue in the first quarter of FY27, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey and highlighting the rapid commercial adoption of its advanced memory and storage solutions. The milestone comes at a time when India is placing greater emphasis on building capabilities across the semiconductor value chain through design, memory, storage and innovation, positioning MiPhi among the early examples of the kind of indigenous semiconductor companies that can help translate this vision into commercial scale.
This milestone follows an extraordinary growth story since the company was founded. MiPhi’s revenue grew from less than ₹10 crore in FY25 to around ₹100 crore in FY26 and crossed ₹250 crore in just the first quarter of FY27, reflecting the increasing demand for high-performance memory solutions as enterprises, AI infrastructure, automotive electronics, and industrial applications continue to expand globally. The company is now aiming for revenue of ₹1,000 crore this financial year and expects strong growth over the next two to three years backed by a strong order pipeline from domestic customers and increasing export opportunities.
Commenting on the milestone, Rahul Sharma, Co-Founder, MiPhi Semiconductors. “Our ambition is to build India’s leading memory technology company. We believe that India’s semiconductor ambitions is on an upwards trajectory. This is about building deep capabilities in product engineering, firmware, validation and advanced memory technologies that deliver long term value and strengthen the country’s technology ecosystem. With the demand for AI infrastructure, cloud computing, enterprise storage and connected devices accelerating globally, MiPhi is committed to build world class memory technologies from India for customers across the global markets.”
The company is also investing in ramping up its manufacturing and technology capabilities for the next phase of growth. This investment will significantly enhance the company’s ability to meet rising domestic demand, while also enabling expanding export prospects and greater levels of domestic value addition across the semiconductor ecosystem.
The milestone also marks MiPhi’s evolution from memory product manufacturer to full-fledged memory technology company. The company is methodically building its expertise in product engineering, firmware development, product validation and advanced storage technologies, as demand ramps up for enterprise storage, AI infrastructure, cloud computing, automotive electronics and industrial applications. This allows it to engage across a wider part of the semiconductor value chain while adding to India’s dream of creating home-grown semiconductor capacities. The company’s growing portfolio of enterprise SSDs, embedded memory products and industrial storage solutions puts it in a position to capitalise on these long term technology trends in both domestic and global markets.
Looking ahead, MiPhi expects enterprise storage, AI infrastructure, automotive electronics and industrial computing to remain key drivers of future growth. With a strong order pipeline, expanding manufacturing capabilities and continued investments in innovation, the company is positioning itself not merely as a manufacturer of memory products, but as a technology company building India’s capabilities across advanced memory solutions, product engineering and semiconductor innovation.
