The week saw a diverse line-up of films and series across OTT platforms, spanning thrillers, slice-of-life dramas, family stories and crime narratives. From the gripping mystery of ‘Missing Mahila’ to the heartwarming drama ‘Chumbak’ and the intense ‘Babita Singh Reporting’, here are five OTT releases that made it to the watchlist.
1. Missing Mahila

Starring Mitra Gadhvi and Esha Kansara, ‘Missing Mahila’ is a Hindi thriller centred on marriage, trust, secrets and deception. The plot centres on Bhavesh, whose search for love takes a dark turn when doubts about his wife’s true identity begin to surface. Directed by Vishal Vada Vala, the series also featured Nakshraaj, Hitesh Thaker, Rahul Raval, Jagjeetsinh Vadher and Dhairya Thakkar.
2. Chumbak
OTT Platform: Netflix
Featuring Neena Gupta, Deven Bhojani, Arjun Bijlani, Helly Shah, Manasi Parekh, Sumeet Vyas, Sandeepa Dhar, Sumeet Raghavan, Anant V. Joshi, Amyra Dastur, Delnaaz Irani and Atul Kumar, ‘Chumbak’ was a heartwarming drama that explored the lives and relationships of five different households.
3. Part-Timers
OTT Platform: JioHotstar
Starring Thanuja Puttaswamy and Gnaneswari Kandregula, ‘Part-Timers’ was a Telugu slice-of-life series that followed two roommates with contrasting personalities and backgrounds who shared a common ambition to build a startup of their own.
4. Bandar
OTT Platform: ZEE5
Directed by Anurag Kashyap and written by Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee, ‘Bandar’ starred Bobby Deol, Sanya Malhotra, Sapna Pabbi, Saba Azad, Indrajith Sukumaran, Jitendra Joshi, Raj B. Shetty and Nagesh Bhonsle. The film had previously premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.
5. Babita Singh Reporting
OTT Platform: Amazon Prime Video
Starring Nimisha Sajayan, Barun Sobti, Anshuman Pushkar, Rajesh Kumar and Geetika Vidya Ohlyan, ‘Babita Singh Reporting’ followed a rookie police officer whose return to her hometown took an unexpected turn when her childhood friend was murdered on the night of her sister-in-law’s baby shower.
