Mumbai: Luma Fertility, a next-generation patient-first fertility care brand backed by Peak XV’s Surge and prominent investors, today announced a solid performance in its inaugural year, with its flagship Mumbai centre achieving break-even while delivering strong clinical outcomes.

Key milestones include a 77% self-cycle success rate, 120 ongoing pregnancies and the arrival of 22 Luma babies. The company expects revenue to grow by 30% quarter-on-quarter moving forward, driven by a growing patient base and robust treatment volumes.

Building on this momentum, Luma plans to expand to 30 centres across India, beginning with three additional centres in Mumbai.

To improve access to quality fertility care, Luma has also launched the Luma Hope Grant — an initiative providing full funding for 30 complete IVF treatment cycles, starting with an initial cohort of 10 cycles for eligible individuals and couples. The grant aims to reduce one of the biggest barriers to fertility care: affordability.

Luma is focused on building a Fertility Care 2.0 model where technology enhances clinical decision-making, transparency builds trust, and patient experience remains central. The company recently launched India’s first outcome-oriented egg-freezing programme, Twelve for Herself, making fertility preservation more informed and transparent.

The platform integrates RFID-based gamete tracking for enhanced traceability of eggs, sperm and embryos, and AI-supported clinical workflows from initial patient assessment through embryo grading.

Neha Motwani, Founder, Luma Fertility, said:

“We set out to address a clear gap in fertility care — where clinical excellence and patient experience did not always go hand in hand. Our progress and the trust patients have placed in Luma show that a truly patient-centric model can work at scale without compromising outcomes, transparency or technology. The Luma Hope Grant extends this philosophy, ensuring financial constraints don’t block access to quality care. As we expand, our focus remains on making fertility treatment more transparent, accessible and centred on each patient’s journey.”
