Srinagar: In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, two terrorists were killed in an encounter that broke out between terrorists and security forces in Samboora area in Pulwama district today.
According to police, a joint team of security forces launched a cardon and search operation at Samboora area following the inputs about the presence of terrorists in the village.
As the joint team approached towards the suspected spot, the terrorists fired upon them that ensued an encounter and in retaliation, two terrorists were killed.
The identity of the slain terrorists is being ascertained.
The search operation in the area was going on when reports last came in.
