Raffles Udaipur hosted FO+MA, the acclaimed Mexico City cocktail destination, for an exclusive one-night guest shift at Long Bar on 26 September 2026. Led by Co-Founder David Rocha, the evening brought together contemporary cocktail craft, Mexican influences and the distinctive hospitality of Raffles Udaipur for an evening of discovery, conversation and exceptional drinks.
The guest shift marked a meeting of two distinct hospitality cultures, bringing together the vibrant cocktail culture of Mexico City with the rich cultural heritage and warm spirit of Rajasthan, reflected in the distinctive setting and hospitality of Raffles Udaipur. At Long Bar, FO+MA’s contemporary approach and Mexican influences came together with the traditions of a region known for its gracious hospitality, artistry and deep sense of celebration. The evening offered guests a unique meeting of two cultures through craft, conversation and the shared joy of hospitality.
For the evening, David Rocha presented a curated selection of cocktails inspired by FO+MA’s contemporary approach to drinks. Each creation reflected his considered use of technique and ingredients, while offering guests an insight into the ideas and craft behind the menu. Set against the intimate character of Long Bar, the experience brought the energy and creativity of Mexico City’s cocktail scene to the Island.
FO+MA has established itself within Mexico City’s evolving cocktail scene through its progressive approach to contemporary drinks and hospitality. The bar was recognised among North America’s 50 Best Bars 2026, adding to its growing international profile. Before co-founding FO+MA, Rocha was associated with Handshake Speakeasy in Mexico City, which was ranked No. 1 in The World’s 50 Best Bars 2024. His experience across both establishments brought a distinctive perspective to the evening, connecting two notable chapters of Mexico City’s cocktail landscape.
