Chetan Bhagat Joins TwinCafe as Chief Creative Officer to Help Shape the Future of Human Interaction
Bengaluru: TwinCafe, the AI-powered Digital Twin platform developed by Viven AI, today announced that best-selling author and storyteller Chetan Bhagat has joined the company as Chief Creative Officer. Bhagat is also joining as a partner and co-investor, backing the company’s vision with his own capital. The appointment comes at a moment of extraordinary momentum for TwinCafe. Since its India launch, the platform has seen strong early momentum, with people across professions, generations and walks of life embracing Digital Twins.
India is already the world’s second largest AI consumer market and ranks first globally in AI skill penetration, according to the India AI Edge 2026 report published by Zinnov, OpenAI and Z47 in May this year. Yet scale and depth are not the same thing. Deloitte’s State of AI in the Enterprise: India Insights, published in March 2026, found that while 40% of Indian organisations report significant or full AI usage against a global average of 28%, high-level AI expertise remains thin on the ground, with Indian companies sitting at just 0 to 4% compared to a global average of 2 to 8%. The gap is not one of appetite but of access: access to knowledge that is personalised, contextual and human. TwinCafe’s AI Digital Twin platform is designed to bridge precisely that divide. That rapid adoption, and the much larger possibility it represents, is what drew Bhagat to TwinCafe.
Chetan Bhagat, Bestselling Author; Partner, Chief Creative Officer and Co-investor, TwinCafe, said: “What caught my attention was the momentum TwinCafe was seeing and the diversity of people embracing it. But what excited me even more was what this could become. Every major technology shift has changed how we communicate. I believe AI Digital Twins could change how we interact with people and knowledge itself. How we interact, communicate and engage may never be the same. I wanted to be part of building that future, not simply watching it. That is why I am joining TwinCafe as Chief Creative Officer, becoming a partner and investing in the company myself.”
TwinCafe believes AI Digital Twins could fundamentally redefine how people interact, communicate and engage. The internet made information accessible. Social media gave people global reach. Smartphones made the world constantly connected. AI could now make human knowledge, experience and personality interactive. Instead of simply reading, watching or following someone, people can engage with their knowledge and perspective through personalised conversations. A teacher can extend learning beyond the classroom. An entrepreneur can share experience beyond the people they have time to mentor. A creator can move from broadcasting to an audience to interacting with individuals at scale. Technology is beginning to challenge one of the oldest constraints on human impact: time.
Ashutosh Garg, serial technology entrepreneur and Founder and CEO of TwinCafe, said: “The momentum has exceeded our expectations, but we believe we are still at the very beginning. What is particularly exciting is the diversity of people embracing Digital Twins and the different ways they are beginning to use them. Chetan saw both, the adoption happening today and the global opportunity ahead. Technology can make Digital Twins possible. Making them meaningful to millions of people requires creativity, trust and a deep understanding of human behaviour. Chetan brings that perspective as we work to take this idea from India to the world.”
Tarun Singhal, Senior Growth Leader and Brand Evangelist, TwinCafe, said: “India is arguably the most exciting AI market in the world right now, but raw adoption numbers only tell half the story. The real opportunity lies in making AI deeply personal and meaningful, not just widely used. That is exactly what TwinCafe enables: turning individual knowledge, experience and personality into something that can reach and engage people at scale. The response we are seeing across such diverse user profiles tells us that this is a need India has been waiting for.”
TwinCafe’s ambition goes beyond building another AI platform. It is working toward a new interface for human interaction, where knowledge, experience and personality can transcend the limitations of time and geography.
