Four IIM Bodh Gaya Faculty Members Feature In World’s Top 2% Scientists Single Year List

The Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya has achieved a significant milestone in research and academic excellence, with four of its faculty members, Dr Aviral Kumar Tiwari, Dr Rohit Agrawal, Dr Raghunathan Krishankumar, and Dr Sunil Tiwari, featured in the prestigious World’s Top 2% Scientists list in a single year

The recognition, part of the Stanford Elsevier World’s Top 2% Scientists database, highlights researchers whose work has demonstrated significant scientific impact as evidenced by citations. The database uses Scopus data to evaluate researchers using measures including citations, h-index, co-authorship-adjusted impact, and a composite citation score. It presents researchers through both career-long impact and single-year impact categories.

The recognition of four faculty members from IIM Bodh Gaya reflects the Institute’s growing contribution to high-quality research and its expanding footprint in the global academic community. The achievement also underscores the Institute’s commitment to fostering a research-oriented academic environment where faculty contribute to knowledge creation across diverse disciplines.

The recognised faculty are as follows:

Dr Aviral Kumar Tiwari is recognised in Economics, securing Rank 47 globally in the subfield for his contributions across energy economics, environmental economics, macroeconomics, growth and development.

Dr Rohit Agrawal  Featured in  Business and Management, securing Rank 437in the subfield with his research spanning areas of business, sustainability, technology and management.

Dr Sunil Tiwari is featured in environmental sciences, securing Rank 947 in the subfield for his research.

Dr Raghunathan Krishankumar is recognised in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing, securing a rank of 5810 in the subfield for his work in decision sciences, soft computing and multi-criteria decision-making.
