Tej Pratap Yadav’s Unexpected Exit Leaves the Penthouse Emotional as Nominations Carry Forward on Rise and Fall Season 2
Mumbai : With the looming nominations setting the tone inside the Tower, the latest episode of MX Original Rise and Fall Season 2 brings a mix of light-hearted moments, an unexpected elimination and fresh twists that change the course of the game. A special appearance by Sanket Bhosale in his Sanjay Dutt-inspired avatar briefly lifts the mood, but the atmosphere soon shifts as the contestants face an announcement that leaves the Penthouse emotional.
Greeting the contestants in his signature ‘Baba’ style, Sanket jokes, “Mere se zyada Rise and Fall kisne dekha hai yaar life mein, mere life ke upar pura show bana diya… maja aa gaya” The banter continues as Shehzad Poonawalla recalls Tej Pratap Yadav’s Sanjay Dutt avatar during the Bollywood-themed party, while Tej points out that Shehzad had taken on the Munna Bhai look. Sanket then joins the two in recreating Sanjay Dutt’s iconic walk. He also shares a few witty exchanges with the Rulers and Workers leaving the contestants amused before making his exit on a cheerful note.
The light-hearted mood, however, gives way to tension as Sehwag announces the week’s elimination. With Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Gautam Gulati, Kajal Raghwani, Raj Grover and Kaira Anu nominated, the Workers are first surprised to learn that no one from the Basement will be eliminated this week. The bigger shock follows when Sehwag reveals that Tej Pratap Yadav will have to leave the Tower. The announcement leaves everyone emotional, with Tej explaining, “Kuch majbooriyaan hai jo ki jaana padega mujhe”. Reflecting on his journey, he shares that he got the chance to make new friends and felt loved by everyone in the tower, adding that he hopes to reunite when the grand finale takes place. Sehwag clarifies that certain legal obligations have led to Tej’s exit. Before leaving, Tej makes a heartfelt gesture by seeking Swara Bhasker’s blessings, explaining that she reminded him of his mother whenever she served him food in the Penthouse. The Rulers and Workers come together to dance and give him a warm farewell, turning his exit into an emotional moment for everyone.
Just when the Workers believe the elimination drama is over, Sehwag throws another twist their way, announcing that their nominations will carry forward to the following week. He then reveals that while no one is being eliminated, new wildcard entries are set to enter the game. Rishabh Jaiswal, Jashwanth Bopanna and Sonam Malik join the Tower, bringing fresh dynamics into the competition. Following the placement decision, Rishabh enters the Penthouse, while Jashwanth and Sonam are sent to the Basement. With the balance of power continuing to shift, the Rulers and Workers now have more to contend with as the game moves into its next phase.
With Tej’s unexpected departure leaving an emotional void and new wildcards entering the Tower, the stakes are set to rise further. How will the Rulers and Workers navigate the changing dynamics as Rise and Fall Season 2 unfolds?
