Jodhpur: Centre for Sight Group of Eye Hospitals, in collaboration with Paliwal Eye Hospital, has introduced Contoura Vision at its Main Pal Road centre in Jodhpur, strengthening access to personalised LASIK and comprehensive eye care. The collaboration brings together Paliwal Eye Hospital’s established local presence and Centre for Sight’s clinical expertise, advanced technology and national network.
The advanced LASIK facility was inaugurated in the presence of Chief Guest Shri Prasann Chand Mehta Ji, Hon’ble Mayor of Nagar Nigam, Jodhpur. Shri Kanhaiya Lal Ji Pareek, Parshad, and Shri Sanjay Ji Vishnoi, Parshad, graced the occasion as Special Guests. Present during the launch were, Dr Mahendra Paliwal – Managing Director, Paliwal Eye Hospital, Dr Prateek Jain Consultant – Paliwal Eye Hospital, and Dr Vikas Sharma Consultant – Paliwal Eye Hospital along with Dr Ratan Purohit – Medical Director, Centre For Sight Sardarpura Jodhpur.

Contoura Vision is a topography-guided LASIK procedure that maps approximately 22,000 points on the corneal surface, the clear front portion of the eye. Alongside the spectacle prescription and other clinical measurements, this detailed mapping helps surgeons consider the unique contours of each cornea when planning personalised laser treatment for eligible patients with myopia and astigmatism.
