Capri Sports Partners with SportVot for Live Production and Streaming of Lxme Indian Women’s League 2
Mumbai : Capri Sports has partnered with SportVot, a sports production and streaming technology company, for the live production and streaming of the 2026–27 Lxme Indian Women’s League 2 (Lxme IWL 2). The partnership aims to expand the competition’s digital reach and make matches more accessible to fans, clubs, and football communities across the country.
Organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), Lxme IWL 2 serves as a competitive pathway for clubs aspiring to reach the top division of Indian women’s football. The first phase of the competition kicks off on October 24 in Bhubaneswar, with matches scheduled across four locations – Bhubaneswar, Shillong, Kharghar, and Goa.
The opening phase will feature eighteen clubs: Sporting Club Bacaim, United Kolkata Sporting Club, Mata Rukmani FC, SAG Football Club, GNDU FC, Sports Odisha, DKR Football Academy, Narmada Valley FC, Youth Welfare Club, Pune Krida Prabodhini FC, Misaka United FC, Jakrem SC, SESA Football Academy, AIFF TDS Telangana Academy, Rangers FC, Zinc Football Academy, Kemp FC, and Mumbai Knights FC.
At the group stage, 18 teams divided across 4 groups will compete against each other in a single-leg round robin phase. The group winners and two-second placed teams will advance to phase 2 – a six-team final round.
As the production and streaming partner, SportVot will be responsible for delivering live match coverage, enabling audiences to follow the action beyond the stadiums. The collaboration builds on SportVot’s experience in providing scalable production and streaming solutions for sporting federations, leagues, and organisers across different levels of competition.
The partnership also aligns with Capri Sports’ long-term commitment to developing women’s football in India. Capri Sports recently entered into a 15-year agreement with AIFF for the commercial development and marketing of Lxme IWL and Lxme IWL 2, focusing on audience growth, fan engagement, and building commercially sustainable competitions.
Apurv Gupta, Head of Contact Sports, Capri Sports, said, “Building a sustainable ecosystem for women’s football requires more than just organising competitions. It is equally important to make these leagues visible, accessible, and engaging for fans, while creating greater value for clubs, players, and commercial partners. Live coverage is a key part of that effort, and our collaboration with SportVot will help us bring Lxme IWL 2 to wider audiences as we continue working towards the long-term growth of women’s football in India.”
Shubhangi Gupta, Co-founder, SportVot, said, “Women’s football in India is growing, and competitions like Lxme IWL 2 are an important part of that progress. There is tremendous talent at this level, and we believe these players and clubs deserve consistent, quality coverage. Through our partnership with Capri Sports, we are looking forward to bringing the competition to more audiences and contributing to the visibility of women’s football in India.”
Through this collaboration, SportVot continues its efforts to make professional sports production accessible across levels of competition, ensuring that emerging athletes, clubs, and leagues have the opportunity to reach and engage audiences beyond the field of play.
