Chennai : enGen Global, an Integrated Healthcare Global Capability Centre (IHGCC), announced the appointment of Piyush Gupta as Senior Vice President and Head of Technology and Innovation. He will lead enGen Global’s technology and innovation efforts, focusing on AI, data and analytics, platform architecture and modernisation across its healthcare operations.
Piyush brings over 27 years of experience across engineering, research and development, architecture and product development. Before joining enGen Global, he was Senior Vice President and Head of Research and Innovation at ProHance, where he established an AI Centre of Excellence and led the development of AI-powered product features. At Tata AIA Life Insurance, he led engineering, architecture, data and innovation initiatives, including Generative AI applications. During his nearly nine years at UnitedHealth Group, he held leadership roles in research and innovation, working on emerging technologies, cognitive automation and digital operations. Earlier, he held architecture and engineering roles at Walmart Labs, Mindtree, International Decision Systems, GE Healthcare and STMicroelectronics.
