VANCOUVER : Canada Super 60 today announced a global broadcast and streaming distribution footprint of 432 million following its second season, alongside 123 million Instagram views across league, team and partner channels and more than five million views of live matches on YouTube, marking a significant milestone in the emerging cricket property’s international growth.

Season 2 brought together international cricketing talent, broadcast and streaming partners across multiple markets, and men’s and women’s competitions at Vancouver’s BC Place. With distribution spanning India, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Australia, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Bangladesh, the Middle East and North Africa, and Canada, the league continued to expand its international presence through a network of established broadcasters and digital platforms.

Canada Super 60’s own Instagram account generated 62 million views during the season, accounting for more than half of the combined views across league, team and partner channels. The digital performance complements the league’s international broadcast distribution, providing additional opportunities to engage audiences beyond matchdays and across markets.

Abhishek Shah, Founder and Chairman of Canada Super 60, said, “We believe the future of sport lies in building strong fandom and creating an ecosystem that brings together players, broadcasters, commercial partners and audiences. With Canada Super 60, our ambition is to create a global cricket property that connects markets, cultivates new fan communities and unlocks opportunities for businesses to engage with the sport. The response to our second season, across broadcast distribution and digital platforms, is an encouraging step towards that vision. We see significant potential to build on this foundation and develop a sustainable sports business that delivers long-term value for our partners while growing cricket’s global footprint.”

A landmark season for cricket in Canada

On October 3, Canada Super 60 launched CBC Sports Primetime on CBC TV and CBC Gem, bringing the ten-over format into a Saturday night programming window long associated with Hockey Night in Canada.

The season was staged at BC Place, which hosted seven FIFA World Cup 2026 matches, including two knockout fixtures, and featured international stars such as Andre Russell, Kieron Pollard,

Nicholas Pooran, Marizanne Kapp and Fatima Sana.

With the United States having co-hosted the 2024 Men’s T20 World Cup and men’s and women’s T20 cricket set to feature at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, Canada Super 60’s second season adds to the momentum behind cricket’s expansion in North America. Its international broadcast network and digital audience provide a platform for further audience growth and commercial partnerships.
