Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that when all the citizens make collective efforts in any campaign, the results are amazing. So far 4 crore 97 lakh 87 thousand 412 citizens have received the first dose of corona vaccine and one crore 91 lakh 42 thousand 331 citizens have received the second dose with the public participation in corona vaccination in the state. The combined efforts of all have played an important role in stopping the third wave of Corona. To maintain effective control over corona infection, the second dose of vaccine is also being administered to cent percent citizens. A target has been set to administer the second dose of the vaccine to all the people of the state by December 2021. We will all make efforts together, the people of the state will soon be able to get a safe shield of protection from Corona.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has appealed to the people of the state that those who have not yet received the second dose of vaccine, should get the vaccine on priority with responsibility. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that we all need to be careful from corona. By applying the second dose of corona vaccine, a strong protective shield develops in the body. Security is guaranteed. He said that Madhya Pradesh has been a leader in the country in administering vaccine dose. This vaccination campaign is a living example of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas” and everyone’s effort.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that last year during the festivals of Navratri, Dussehra, Eid and Deepawali, there was a terrible fear of corona in everyone’s mind. Effective control of corona infection could be possible only after the first dose of corona vaccine was administered to more than 90 percent of the citizens in the state. This year, during these festivals, people had self-confidence, fear had vanished. There was awareness among the citizens. People continuously adopted all necessary measures to prevent corona. He said that corona is not gone yet. In order that its infection does not increase again, it is necessary for everyone to get a second dose while adopting measures to prevent corona.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that by applying the first dose of corona vaccine, there was a ray of hope among small shopkeepers, entrepreneurs, workers, people doing roadside business. They were able to do their business fearlessly. He called upon to make the festivals grander and free from fear by getting the second dose of corona vaccine. He appealed to the people of the state to remain vigilant about corona and adopt appropriate behaviour for prevention.
So far more than 6.89 crore doses have been administered
Till October 25, 6 crore 89 lakh 29 thousand 743 doses of corona vaccine have been applied in the state. Of these, 4 crore 97 lakh 87 thousand 412 have been given the first dose and one crore 91 lakh 42 thousand 331 citizens have been given the second dose.
