Haflong : Acting on specific information about movement of NSCN cadres, an operation was launched at P.Leikul village by 11 Assam Rifles and police rep of Mahur PS, where one NSCN(IM) cadre has been apprehended on Thursday, police sources informed.
The cadre was identified as Kilianeiang Zeme of Kepilo village under Mahur Police Station who had come to P.Leikul village after collecting money from N.Longkai village. Items were recovered from his possession like an amount of Rs.28,500.00, NSCN receipt, Mobile phone , wallet and a small knife.
A case is registered and the cadre is being interrogated further.
