Apeejay School Saket Celebrates its Annual Appreciation Day 2022
New Delhi: Apeejay School, Saket recently held its Annual Appreciation Day to celebrate the achievements of the students and to reiterate the spirit of hard work. The Chief Guest of the day was Dr Anil Jain, Hon’ble Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha from BJP and National President – AITA (All India Tennis Association). Shri Amaan Ali Bangash, a renowned sarod player was the special invitee for the event.
The theme for this year’s celebration was ‘Dreams – The essence of being alive’. The Annual Day witnessed a participation of around 650 students and their parents. The school which began in 1988 has won numerous awards & accolades over the years and has carved a unique niche for itself.
The school’s Principal, Dr. Sujeet Eric Masih in his address said “Dr. Stya Paul envisioned to provide quality education of global dimensions leading to man-making and nation-building. Today, his dream is a living reality. At present, his legacy is being carried forward by his daughter, Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education.”
From Apeejay fraternity, the event was attended by Dr. V.S Garg, Education Advisor, Apeejay Education. Also, the school’s alumni, Mr. Aditya Bhalla, Founder & Technical Director at Aeroganics and Mr. Gitesh Aggarwal, Founder, Sevan Foods were present on this occasion.
Speaking on the occasion Shri Amaan Ali Bangash, highlighted the virtues of humility and respect for parents and elders to achieve one’s dream. Based on dreams and the power of imagination, students put forward an array of power-packed performances. Also, they showcased the glorious years of India and the lives of national thinkers, scientists and innovators who dreamt and made it big through their contributions.
The awards were bestowed on the students not only for their academic excellence but also for various extra-curricular activities. Further, select students were also bestowed with the Dr Stya Paul Award for Human Values.
Sharing his words of wisdom on this momentous day, Chief Guest Dr. Jain said, “Anyone can dream and anyone who has made it big has once only dreamt of it. Similarly, Dr. Stya Paul, the late Founder of Apeejay Education once dreamt and that dream has come alive as Apeejay Education is committed to the pursuit of excellence and each year educates nearly 40,000 students in the country.”
The grand finale of the show witnessed all students, teachers and staff in tandem celebrating their achievements on the school’s song.
