KLH Hyderabad proudly hosted KALA UTSAV 2025, a grand celebration of culture and creativity that set a new benchmark for artistic expression in India. Held on March 21 and 22 at the KLH Bachupally campus, this prestigious national-level festival was organized by the KLH Student Activity Centre (SAC) in collaboration with the Department of Language & Culture, Government of Telangana. Bringing together thousands of students, artists, and performers from across the country, KALA UTSAV was more than just an event—it was a vibrant movement dedicated to reviving and honouring India’s rich artistic heritage.
With a vision to rekindle interest in India’s fading art forms and create a dynamic platform for young talent, KALA UTSAV witnessed a grand confluence of music, dance, visual arts, literature, photography, and filmmaking. The festival featured intense competitions across multiple categories, with participants showcasing their skills in Nrutya-Sankranti (Dance), Kala-Sparddhh (Arts), Drishyantarah (Filmmaking), Pratibimb-Yuddham (Photography), Sangeet-Samraag (Music), Vani-Sangharsah (Literature), and Vada Sangrama (Debate).

The KLH campus was transformed into a vibrant cultural hub as over 3,000 attendees immersed themselves in two days of electrifying performances, live musical acts, and celebrity appearances. Adding to the festival’s allure, renowned movie teams from the Indian film industry visited the campus, providing students with a unique opportunity to engage with leading figures in cinema and performing arts. The event also expected to welcome an esteemed lineup of dignitaries, including Shri Mamidi Harikrishna, Director, Department of Language & Culture, Government of Telangana; Shri Naveen Kumar (IAS), Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources, Government of Uttar Pradesh; acclaimed actor Pranav Kaushik; and Kishore Indukuri, Founder & CEO of Sid’s Farm. Their presence further elevated the festival’s significance, highlighting its impact on the cultural and creative landscape.
The driving force behind KALA UTSAV 2025 was a visionary leadership team committed to fostering artistic excellence. Chairpersons Er. P. Sai Vijay, Director-SAC; Dr. L. Koteswara Rao, Principal; Dr. Ramakrishna Akella, Principal; and Dr. G. Radha Krishn, along with Convener Mr. G. Prem Satish Kumar, meticulously curated an event that celebrated both traditional and contemporary artistic expressions.
