The following train services will be cancelled/divereted due to traffic regulations from 19:55 hours on 26th April, 2025, for facilitating girder replacement of railway bridge (Number 174) between Thiruvalla and Changanassery railway stations in the Kayamkulam-Kottayam-Ernakulam route.
FULLY CANCELLED
1). Train No. 66310 Kollam Junction – Ernakulam Junction MEMU Express, scheduled to leave Kollam Jn. at 21.05 hrs. on Saturday, 26th April, 2025 will be fully cancelled.
TRAINS DIVERTED
1). Train No. 16319 Thiruvananthapuram North – SMVT Bengaluru Humsafar Express leaving Thiruvananthapuram North at 18.05 hrs on 26th April, 2025 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping stoppages at Chengannur and Kottayam. Additional stoppages will be provided at Alappuzha and Ernakulam Jn. stations, for the convenience of passengers.
2). Train No. 16629 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mangaluru Central Malabar Express leaving Thiruvananthapuram Central at 18.40 hrs on 26th April, 2025 will be diverted diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam, Piravom Road and Thrippunithura. Additional temporary stoppages permitted at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha, Cherthala and Ernakulam Jn. Stations, for the convenience of passengers.
3). Train No. 16347 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mangaluru Central Express leaving Thiruvananthapuram Central at 20.55 hrs on 26th April, 2025 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping its scheduled stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery and Kottayam. Additional temporary stoppages permitted at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha and Cherthala, for the convenience of passengers
4). Train No. 16343 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Madurai Junction Amritha Express leaving Thiruvananthapuram Central at 20.30 hrs on 26th April, 2025 will be diverted between Kayamkulam Jn. and Ernakulam Town to run via Alappuzha, skipping stoppages at Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery and Kottayam. Additional stoppages will be provided at Haripad, Ambalappuzha, Alappuzha and Cherthala, for the convenience of passengers
TRAINS PARTIALLY CANCELLED
1). Train No. 16327 Madurai Junction – Guruvayur Express leaving Madurai Jn. at 11.35 hrs on 26th April, 2025 will be short terminated at Kollam Jn. The train will be partially cancelled between Kollam and Guruvayur.
2). Train No. 16328 Guruvayur – Madurai Junction Express scheduled to leave Guruvayur at 05.50 hrs, will commence service from Kollam Jn. At 12.10 hrs. on 27th April, 2025. The train will be partially cancelled between Guruvayur and Kollam.
