In a powerful step toward normalizing conversations around fertility and assisted reproduction, Apollo Fertility has launched its newest awareness campaign, ‘GuesstheIVFBaby’. The campaign aims to dismantle longstanding myths around IVF by posing a thought-provoking and simple challenge: Can you really tell who’s an IVF baby?
Timed around the World IVF Day, the initiative builds on the momentum of Apollo Fertility’s impactful awareness campaigns and its unwavering commitment to breaking taboos, encouraging timely intervention, and empowering couples with science-backed reproductive choices. Focusing on the need to dispel myths and misinformation related to IVF treatment, Apollo Fertility plans to reach mass audience including parents and families through this campaign that will run across 12 different cities on ground and digital as well.

With a proven track record in driving meaningful change, Apollo Fertility has launched successful campaigns such as “Score Over Infertility”, which promoted early fertility screening among young couples, and “Think Equal”, which challenged gender stereotypes by highlighting that infertility affects both men and women equally. Through Score Over Infertility, Apollo Fertility has helped over 4,000 couples with early diagnosis and consultation, enabling them to make informed decisions on their path to parenthood.
As part of the campaign, the organization will be conducting an awareness drive through all its 22 centers across India. The multipronged campaign also focuses on guiding individuals and couples on various other related topics like egg freezing, PCOD, importance of early screening etc., and there by enabling them to take informed decision. A series of advertisement campaigns and social media-led outreach is planned to reach mass audience.
Mr. Nishant Mishra, Chief Marketing Officer, Apollo Health and Lifestyle Ltd., said, “In today’s evolving landscape of reproductive health, our commitment at Apollo Fertility goes beyond providing medical solutions; it’s about empowering lives through informed choices. The #GuessTheIVFBaby campaign isn’t just an initiative; it’s a critical response to the pressing need for accurate information and empathy surrounding fertility treatments. We believe that by dispelling myths and fostering open conversations, we can help individuals and couples navigate their journeys with confidence and hope. This campaign is a testament to our dedication to not only advancing fertility science but also building a more supportive and understanding community for everyone on their path to parenthood. “
Dr. Vijay Agarwal, Director of Medical Services, Apollo Health and Lifestyle Ltd. said, “At Apollo Fertility, we firmly believe that the fundamental health and developmental trajectory of a child is not dependent on their conception method. There’s a persistent, unfortunate gap in public understanding regarding Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART), particularly In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). This often creates a significant psychological burden, including stigma and unwarranted anxiety, for individuals and couples pursuing fertility treatments. The campaign aims to shed light on the scientific reality of IVF and how a baby conceived through IVF is just as healthy, just as ‘natural.”
A recent United Nation’s report has flagged that India’s total fertility rate (TFR) has declined to 1.9, which is below the replacement level fertility of 2.1 births per woman. This drop in fertility rates has been noted to be significant in the Southern States of the country, as per another report. With plummeting fertility rates and misinformation spreading with regard to IVF-led treatments, Apollo Fertility decided to launch this campaign to increase awareness around fertility treatments.
