Chennai: Funskool India Ltd, India’s leading toy manufacturer, has won prestigious awards under three categories in the recently held Toy Contest by The All-India Toy Manufacturers’ Association (TAITMA).
The awards were given at the Toy Contest Award Night, held in Mumbai by the All India Toy Manufacturers’ Association.
Sand Art Seasons won the award in the Arts & Crafts Category, while Jumpin Melodies Keyboard won in the Electronic Toys Category and Peg Pixel Vehicles & Bash n Pop Slide Tower won in the General Activity Toys Category

The All-India Toy Manufacturers’ Association (TAITMA) is the apex body of the toy industry representing members from all over the country. TAITMA organises annual Toy exhibitions representing all categories of toys and these exhibitions witness the participation of the industry on an All-India Level. Annual Toy Awards and Merit certificates are presented to manufacturers of different categories of toys. This has resulted in more awareness about the quality and development of toys among the manufacturers.
