Hyderabad: Glendale International Schoolcelebrates the remarkable achievement of its alumnus Abdul Malik, who played a vital role in Hyderabad’s first-ever victory in the prestigious BCCI Vinoo Mankad Trophy. The Hyderabad U19 team created history by defeating Punjab by five wickets in the finals held in Rajkot.
Malik delivered an exceptional performance in the tournament finale. His two crucial wickets came at defining moments of the match and helped shift the momentum in Hyderabad’s favour, ultimately contributing to the team securing the national title for the first time.
Following his outstanding run in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, Malik has been selected by the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) to represent the Challenger Group. The Challenger Trophy is regarded as a significant stepping stone to the India U19 team, making this selection an important milestone in his cricketing journey.
