New Delhi:  India’s plastic exports during the year 2027 are all set to double to USD 25 billion from USD 12.5 billion during Financial Year (FY) 24-25.

The PlastIndia Foundation an apex body of major associations, organisations, and institutions connected with Plastics further  reinforcing India’s position as a leading global supplier of high-quality plastic products is poised to make history as it will be unveiling plans for PLASTINDIA  2026 at a grand curtain-raiser in New Delhi on September 20, 2025.

With the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta, gracing the occasion as Chief Guest, the Foundation will officially launch its most ambitious edition yet – one that will not only be the biggest plastics exhibition ever held in India, but also one of the largest trade shows in Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam’s legacy.

This landmark edition is expected to attract over 600,000 business visitors from across India and the world, transforming New Delhi into the global capital of plastics innovation, collaboration, and trade

What sets PLASTINDIA 2026 apart is its determined commitment to be a Zero-Waste exhibition, a bold first for India’s plastics industry. This mission is directly inspired by our Hon Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission, and will see the event implement circular economy practices, large-scale recycling initiatives, and sustainability-driven operations across its 75,000+ sq. meters of exhibition space. By doing so, PlastIndia Foundation aims to set a new global benchmark for responsible large-scale exhibitions, proving that mega-events can be both grand and green.

A defining highlight of PLASTINDIA  2026 will be the unprecedented participation of India’s MSMEs. Long celebrated as the backbone of the Indian economy, MSMEs will have a central stage at this edition, showcasing innovations across packaging, consumer goods, automotive, healthcare, and sustainable plastics. Their presence underlines the event’s role as a launch pad for entrepreneurial growth, new investments, and global partnerships.    By giving MSMEs a powerful platform, PLASTINDIA 2026 reinforces its commitment to Atmanirbhar Bharat and the vision of making India a global manufacturing hub.

Mr. Ravish Kamath, President of the PlastIndia Foundation, Stated:

“PLASTINDIA 2026 will be remembered as the largest plastics exhibition India has ever hosted – but size is only part of the story. This edition is about responsibility, sustainability, and pride in India’s future. Our industry continues to grow at an extraordinary pace, with plastics exports reaching USD 12.5 billion in FY 2024–25 and set to double to USD 25 billion by 2027. But beyond these numbers, we are determined to prove that India can lead the world in sustainable growth. By making PLASTINDIA 2026 a Zero-Waste exhibition, we will showcase a modern, responsible, and globally competitive Indian plastics industry, fully aligned with our Prime Minister’s Swachh Bharat Mission.”
