Dimapur: A person died and four other injured in an accidental blast at United North Block colony here on Tuesday. The blast occurred at around 2pm.
The injured have been admitted to hospital.
According to Dimapur police, as per preliminary investigation an iron scrap worker was pounding a suspected vintage bomb with hammer when it went off. Police said the incident left one person dead and four injured.
An infant, a woman and two men were among the injured.
