Haflong : Though the 24 Hours Dima Hasao Bandh called by Dimasa Students Union/ Hmar Students 
Association/Hrankhol Students Association/ All Biate Student Association/ Khasi Students Association / Karbi Student Union of Dima Hasao was peaceful but paralysed the normal life in Dima Hasao on Thursday
The Bandh was called for 24 hours Dima Hasao Bandh from 5 am of December 12th to 5 am of December 13th demanding creation of autonomous state under article 244 (A), to stop granting BLT accord clause-8.and to scrape BLT accord clause-8.
All most all the offices remained closed except Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police with thin attendance. Market and other establishment also remain closed. The public and private vehicles were off the road. No any untoward incident so far.
Impact of Bandh was felt at Langting, Umrangso, Maibang etc but was all together peaceful.
