GUWAHATI : Famous for its natural beauty, seasonal flower valley and biodiversity, a massive fire has engulfed the jungles of The Djuko Valley on the Border of Manipur-Nagaland. Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has tweeted the video in the past night and termed it as very sad and unfortunate. The fire is so horrible that it can also be seen from Kohima, the capital of Nagaland.

In Kohima, officials of the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) said a massive fire took off for unknown reason. “The amount of damage caused by the incident has not yet been ascertained,” said an NSDMA official. The blast in the valley was so large that it was visible from Kohima. The fire is likely to move towards the main valley due to strong winds.
